Event Details

Lindsay Gund

Join us for an evening to celebrate the life and selfless spirit of our friend Lindsay Gund. Lindsay lived courageously and always had a moment for a friend (or stranger) in need. In that spirit, we are hosting this event for young professionals to remember Lindsay’s legacy of unconditional friendship, love, and generosity.

So, be your BOLDEST and wear your BRIGHTEST as we enjoy an evening filled with dancing, drinking, food, and friends! All proceeds will be donated to the Washington Middle School for Girls in Lindsay’s honor. Come have a good time in her memory and celebrate the life that Lindsay lived! We hope to see you there!

The Washington Middle School for Girls' mission statement:

Washington Middle School for Girls

Our mission is rooted in the heritage of three courageous women and educators: Mary McLeod Bethune, Cornelia Connelly, and Claudine Thevenet. In their spirit, The Washington Middle School for Girls provides a caring and safe environment for young girls who are living in an under-served urban area and are at risk of leaving school prematurely. The Washington Middle School for Girls offers a solid and holistic education in the Catholic educational tradition, featuring intellectual challenge, respect for diversity, and support for the spiritual, social and emotional growth of each student.

Living Lindsay's Legacy

Living Lindsay's Legacy

Lindsay, a graduate of Georgetown Visitation high school and Denison University, was a strong advocate for the improvement of public education and the empowerment of America’s youth. Unfortunately, Lindsay passed away before she was able to achieve her dreams. Despite her untimely passing, Lindsay’s legacy and memory lives on in the lives of the friends she touched. Some of her closest friends have come together to make her dream a reality through hosting a fundraiser in her honor.
